Renew Your Books

You can renew your books one time online as long as they are not overdue by following this link Renew Your Books.  If you need to keep books longer, you will need to bring them in to the library to renew a second time.

To renew interlibrary loan books, call 318-357-5465.

Welcome to the Leesville/Ft. Polk Library!  We offer a diverse collection of books & databases for your research needs, assistance with the library catalog and database searching, access to interlibrary loan (ILL), private study carrels and a study area that can be reserved for groups. 

Need to make copies?  Scan images for presentations?  Try our new KIC Scanner.  Full color 17x24" face-up scanning area, automatic page splitting and book-fold correction, markable, searchable PDFs for study, crop & enlarge images and all you need is your USB drive! 

  

 

 

Check Out Policies

Undergraduates may have a total of 21 items checked out at any time

  • Books - loan period is 21 days
  • Bestsellers - loan period is 21 days
  • Paperbacks - loan period is 21 days

All borrowing priviledges expire at the end of each semester.

 

Faculty may have a total of 30 items checked out at any time

  • Books - loan period is academic year or summer
  • Bestsellers - loan period is 21 days
  • Paperbacks - loan period is 21 days
  • AV - loan period is academic year or summer
  • Reference Books - loan period is 3 days
  • Journals - loan period is 3 days

Faculty must return or renew books at the end of each May at the end of the Spring semester and in August before "on call" day.

 

Staff may have a total of 21 items checked out at any time

  • Books - loan period is 21 days
  • Bestsellers - loan period is 21 days
  • Paperbacks - loan period is 21 days

*Remember, overdue fines are $1.00 per item per day for all materials. There are no exceptions to this policy.
