Archival Materials

The CGHRC contains a number of archival materials related to the Kisatchie National Forest. Notably, there are archival collections for which a large portion of the collection relates directly and indirectly to the topic. There are also smaller items that can be found within largely unrelated archival collections.

Archival Collections

The Caroline Dormon Collection cover the many activities accomplished by Dormon as a naturalist, botanist, conservationist, gardner, writer, illustrator, landscape artist, and clubwoman. Materials include photographs, pamphlets, scrapbooks, and paintings. Also included is personal correspondence with individuals on such topics as botany, forestry, politics, Native Americans, archaeology, and anthropology.
