When a fire exit alarm is chirping, that means the battery is low and must be replaced. You can attempt to replace it yourself, or you can ask the Head of Reference for assistance.
- Ask the library secretary for a new battery - she keeps a supply of 9 volt batteries in the office
- Get the keys from either the library secretary or the keybox - one is labeld DETEX and the other looks similar to other university keys
