Criminal Justice: Selected Resources

Theory and Practice

The U.S. Department of Justice maintains  the National Criminal Justice Reference Center (NCJRC).  Its Virtual Library Abstracts Database houses materials and resources produced and/or sponsored by the Office of Justice Programs (OJP). Prior to October 2014, the Library collected resources from a wide variety of sources (i.e., research organizations, journal publishers, etc.). These materials remain available through the NCJRS collection.   The collection covers the broad subject areas of criminal and juvenile justice, as well as related fields of study.
