Databases

Academic Search Complete- general database. Use Linguistics as a subject term and limit to peer reviewed journals.

JSTOR now contains ebooks as well as journal articles. Restrict the content to articles the library has access to, or open it up if  you have time to use interlibrary loan.

MLA International Bibliography--The standard bibliography for modern language, including linguistics.

Project Muse--also includes scholarly content for linguistics. Restrict the content to articles the library has access to, or open it up if  you have time to use interlibrary loan.

WorldCat--database which provides access to primarily books available in thousands of libraries. It will identify those titles in other libraries as well as at NSU.
